Creative Block
Some days it’s really frustrating having a job as a creative. Today I just feel stuck. Every concept I try to execute just comes out really “blah.” The most frustrating part is when I know I’m capable of doing much better, but I just can’t make it happen and I’m in a time crunch so there’s not time to come up with anything better. I hate letting a piece go out that I wouldn’t want to show up in my portfolio if I was interviewing for a job.
I generally don’t blog while I’m at work, but I thought maybe writing out some of my frustrations would help clear the creative block I’m in. Let me know if you have any ideas for getting unblocked.
been there bro! there’s times I’ve been writing a sermon and BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.
the only thing that ever helps me (it may not help you) is to start brainstorming all over again…grab the markers, fill the whiteboard, repeat (ad naseum)
