Settling In

This weekend we made the big move to our new apartment. It went much smoother than I expected it to thanks to a lot of good friends helping us out. When your friends drive 7 hours in a snowstorm to help you move, you know you’ve got quality friends. It was a fun weekend hanging out despite the stress of moving and the 13 inches of snow. The new place is really great and we’re really happy with it so far. The view from our back door is beautiful. I looked out and saw this scene before we left for work:

winter backyard

A view like that makes me love the snow.

  1. About 6 months ago my family and I moved to Sarasota Florida (gulf side) and although Christmas was a little hard to get used to this year, I can honestly say that I look at your picture and I think to myself…I’m so glad I don’t live up north anymore. It’s going to be in the 80’s today…I think I’ll wear a short sleeve shirt and flip flops.

  3. Nope, we haven’t found anything yet. We’re going back to the old place to get the last few things tonight. I’ll let you know if we find anything. Thanks again!
